Welcome to Little Explorers Community Nursery. Co-Founders Nicola and Katie set up this inspirational nursery in 2016, where curiosity has no limits and opportunities are endless. Since 2016 when the doors opened, the nursery has expanded significantly.
Our nursery is a home from home experience where your little one can grow in confidence, build friendships and most importantly create happy memories.

Our Vision
At Little Explorers, we strive to promote and develop strong, independent and unique individuals who's are confident to explore the world around them.
We have a purpose built nursery in Blackerhill, Barnsley with three rooms and three outdoors spaces which includes our very own secure forest.
Working with Parents
Working in partnership with our parents is vital for effective holistic learning and development for our Little Explorers. This is achieved by building a relationship up with the child and family through our key person approach and providing an outstanding support system to our families in a variety of ways.
Our Enhancements
We have a variety of enhancements which not only support our children within nursery which boosts their physical, creative and critical thinking skills but also support other professionals in our community.
